Wildcat Companies is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from initiation to close, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence. You will coordinate with design, field teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, on-time results.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and CPM scheduling experience; you will balance multiple projects, manage subcontractors, and drive performance while maintaining quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review weekly As-Builts and verify final quantities.
  • Attend jobsite, pre-bid, and pre-work meetings.
  • Coordinate with Division Manager and Superintendent at project start.
  • Verify time and materials and ensure requisitions.
  • Track inventory, tools, and equipment for projects.
  • Set up locates, inspections and permits.
  • Address questions from prime contractor and field personnel about items or how to claim items.
  • Prepare and update CPM project schedules.

Job description

Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s). Meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Manage projects to stay within budget and oversee projects from beginning to end.
  • Prepare submittals for approval, follow up, obtain approval. Once approved, forward to purchasing for material procurement. Disperse approved submittals to all necessary parties.
  • Prepare and submit RFI to customer, disperse responses to all necessary parties.
  • Manage change orders and disperse information to all necessary parties.
  • Weekly review of As-Builts and quantities claimed, verify if errors were made and draw up final as-builts to justify final quantities.
  • Attend jobsite meetings, pre bid meetings and pre work meetings.
  • New jobs, review plans and check for problems. Coordinate with Division Manager and Superintendent on solutions before job begins.
  • Verify all time and materials are claimed in jobs and verify requisitions are done.
  • Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment needed for projects.
  • Set up locates, inspections and permits.
  • Assist with questions from prime contractor and field personnel about items claimed or how to claim items.
  • Prepare and update Critical Path Method (CPM) project schedules.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Strong computer, oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and know how to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Build effective deadlines for themselves and follow them to implement the project on time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk 40% of the work week.
  • On the jobsites 20% of the work week with little to no shade or cover.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
