Job summary

SSC Space in Spring House, PA seeks an experienced Project Manager in Connect Service Delivery to lead global customer delivery projects associated with satellite ground stations and space programs. You will be the primary contact during mission establishment and drive internal development projects to successful completion.

You have a university degree in IT, engineering, or business, 5+ years managing international and remote projects, and hands-on knowledge of waterfall and agile methods.

Qualifications

• University degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing customer delivery projects, including international and remote teams.
• Experience in Space, IT, Telecom, or similar technology-focused organizations.
• Knowledge of waterfall project methodologies (PPS, IPMA, PMP) and preferably agile/scrum.
• Leadership-oriented, structured, and organized.
• Technically and commercially savvy, with strong financial and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and social networking abilities.
• Self-starter, process-oriented, and comfortable challenging the status quo.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, control, and close projects with specific success criteria and supporting documentation.
• Ensure project goals and deliverables are achieved, following SSC’s project process.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers during the mission establishment phase.
• Provide professional project management and ensure transparency for ongoing projects.
• Drive continuous improvement of the project process.

Requirements

As Project Manager in Connect Service Delivery, you will manage both customer and internal projects for SSC’s global network of ground stations, supporting scientific, Earth observation, navigation, and telecom satellites. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers during mission establishment and drive internal development projects to successful completion.

WHO YOU ARE

• University degree in information technology, engineering, business administration, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing customer delivery projects, including international and remote teams.
• Experience in Space, IT, Telecom, or similar technology-focused organizations.
• Knowledge of waterfall project methodologies (PPS, IPMA, PMP) and preferably agile/scrum.
• Leadership-oriented, structured, and organized.

• Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, resource planning tools, and MS Project.
• You are ambitious, driven, and lead by example, ensuring project goals are met and nothing is left to chance.

LOCATION

This is a permanent full-time position located in Spring House, PA. Employees must be available to be in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week. Our new office is located in Spring House Innovation Park, a 133-acre research and business campus featuring a café, fitness center, conference facilities, outdoor patios, and walking trails - designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
