Job summary

Otis is seeking a Project Manager to support multi-location, cross-functional teams from concept through production and field deployment. You will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements, collaborating with sales, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing and field operations.

The role requires a BS in engineering (or equivalent) and 5+ years of PM experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and English communication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required / BS in engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience required.
• Hands-on project leadership from concept to deployment with multi-functional, global teams.
• Experience managing competing priorities, distributed teams, and cross-organizational stakeholders.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Project, Word, Excel) required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering and subsystems owners to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness.
• Work with Supply Chain to share drawings and engage engineers with suppliers for discussions.
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan and track with suppliers and factory.
• Coordinate prototype installation and address turnbacks from installation and tests.
• Ensure production drawings are on schedule and tracked with changes from tests.
• Manage program stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, interdependencies and resources.
• Support project reviews, gate reviews, and executive communications.
• Plan and communicate goals, trades, schedule, cost, and milestones.
• Facilitate team meetings with leadership focus on deliverables and timelines.
• Support process improvements and tool adoption within the program management team.

The Project Manager (PM) will support multi-location, cross-functional teams to deliver new products and designs from concept through production and field deployment. The PM will manage cost, schedule, quality, and requirements working with sales & marketing, supply chain, technical teams, manufacturing, and field operations. The PM will support individuals to understand and communicate the complexities of development activities, risk management, and timely escalations throughout the project development. The PM will operate within the Otis structured stage-gate and agile product development frameworks.

On a typical day you will be:

• Coordinating with Engineering teams and sub-systems owners to ensure prototype and production drawings readiness
• Coordinating with Supply Chain to ensure drawings or marked up drawings are shared and engage right engineer with supplier for any technical discussion and issue resolution
• Ensure prototype parts delivery according to plan, tracking and following up with suppliers and factory
• Coordinate prototype installation with Engineering teams and sub-systems owners as well as turnbacks from installation and tests.
• Ensure production drawings are on schedule and tracked as well as the changes needed based on turnbacks and tests.

In collaboration with Program Manager/Director, manage program stakeholders, schedule, scope, cost, risk, interdependencies, and resources

Support project reviews, gate reviews and other team/executive communications

Plan, track, and communicate project details such as goals, trades, schedule, cost, and milestones

Facilitate team meetings, providing leadership and direction focusing on deliverables, goals, actions, and timelines

Support initiatives within the program management team to increase efficiencies, processes, and tools

What you will need to be successful:

Associate degree required / BS in engineering preferred 5+ years of project management experience required Experience with hands‑on project leadership from concept through deployment with Multi‑functional, global teams required Exposure managing competing priorities, distributed teams, multi-disciplinary and cross‑organizational stakeholders, and complex system trades required Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Teams, Project, Word, Excel) required Ability to work independently and in a highly collaborative, team environment required Effective communication and presentation skills required Proficiency in spoken and written English required Familiarity with Daptiv or similar project management tools desired Travel up to 10% Additional Comments: Given the nature of the position, applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.
