Job summary

gpac seeks a dedicated Project Manager to join a Design-Build General Contractor in Sioux Falls. You will lead project development from inception to completion, develop schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential. Ideal candidates will have PM experience, a construction management background, and exposure to design-build.

Qualifications

• Experience as Construction Project Manager required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Construction Management preferred but not required.
• Design-Build experience preferred.

Responsibilities

A long-standing Design-Build General Contractor is looking to add a Project Manager to their growing team. This firm offers construction services including general contracting, construction management, and design-build.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Create and manage project schedules.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within or under budget.
• Process project change orders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel when needed.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and help resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates.
• Conform with all safety rules and support the execution of best safety practices.
• Assist with estimating new projects as needed.

Education / Experience
