Paulson-Cheek Mechanical, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager – Mechanical (HVAC) to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from award through close-out, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality.
You will be the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities include developing schedules and budgets, reviewing contracts, coordinating procurement, monitoring costs and change orders, maintaining records, and mentoring junior staff.

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and closing commercial mechanical construction projects while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Leadership, communication, financial management, contract administration, organization, negotiation, problem-solving, customer service, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
Physical Requirements Ability to visit active construction sites, walk uneven terrain, climb stairs or ladders as needed, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment Work is performed in both an office environment and active commercial construction sites. Hours are somewhat flexible but should include an 8 hour day between 7am and 6pm. Most work is performed locally and travel is not a regular part of this role. However, some travel may be required to support regional projects, attend training, or participate in meetings.
