Job summary

LKQ Corporation seeks a motivated project manager to lead initiatives from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with strategy and security requirements. You will organize teams, define scope, set milestones, and manage resources while coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include status reporting, risk mitigation, and documentation of processes. A bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of experience are required; PMI certification is a plus. Travel may be required occasionally.

Apply now and take the first step toward a rewarding career!Responsible for managing projects from initiation through delivery as required, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, policies, and security requirements.Essential Job DutiesPlan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.Organize project teams, assign individual responsibilities, and determine resource requirements.Formulate project scope and delivery strategies and establish milestones/schedules.Handle multiple projects simultaneously including task delegation, project oversight, and resource allocation.Negotiate costs, perform project requirements, estimation, and budget management.Report project status and monitor the progress of all team members and stakeholders. Advise leadership of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.Identify obstacles, analyze, and find viable solutions to problems and risks to the completion of the project.Assist with end-user and internal documentation of systems, processes, and projects alike for current and future reference.Initiate and support continual quality improvement.Assume other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNot responsible for supervising employees.Minimum RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.3+ years of related experience required; Still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.Preferred RequirementsPMI certification.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.
