Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Project Lead 1 to coordinate engineering projects, manage timelines, and align deliverables with client requirements. The role involves leading test programs for Android devices, coordinating with developers and product managers, and driving quality across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee testing strategies, manage a team of engineers, and work with OEM partners to ensure timely, high-quality releases while navigating scope changes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution; may consider 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education.
• Willingness to relocate and travel to work/project locations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship to apply.

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Project Lead 1, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating smooth communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support the technical team in following SDLC processes, ensuring all deliverables align with client requirements and specifications
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
• Contribute to the creation of project budgets that aligns with the scope, strategy, and key deliverables
• Identify scope alterations and new client requests, support in effort estimation, obtaining necessary approvals and securing client sign-offs

Required Skill And Experience

• Manage and lead Android device testing programs across multiple projects and product releases.
• Define test strategies, test plans, schedules, and quality goals aligned with business objectives.
• Manage a team of test engineers responsible for device validation, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
• Drive test execution, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of quality milestones.
• Coordinate with developers, product managers, OEM partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
• Review defect trends, conduct root cause analysis, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure proper device lab management, test environment readiness, and resource utilization.
• Establish test metrics, dashboards, and executive-level quality reports.
• Champion automation adoption and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency.

Preferred Skill And Experience

Experience in telecom, networking, or wireless device testing.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
