Job summary

Supermicro is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Edge AI product and solutions development, overseeing the product schedule from development through end of life. As a project manager, you will play a key role in development the Edge computer products, by collaboration and leading teams in multiple area of expertise, including design, testing, installation, troubleshooting and debug systems.

Additionally the project manager will actively support sales during customer acquisition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or Science with minimum 3 years working experience.
• Knowledge in embedded/Edge/IoT system products.
• Knowledge in computer architecture (Intel, AMD, ARM) and interfaces (PCIe, SATA, USB).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support product team from inception to development to production and EOL.
• Strong collaboration with system PM, Motherboard PM, chassis PM and thermal teams.
• Ongoing support for PM and sales, including system assembly, functional testing, thermal test, production and other related tasks.
• Identify product improvements and implement selected improvements.
• Understand customer needs and competitor products to aid product improvements.
• Actively support sales with customer projects.
• Actively support lead generation and customer acquisition activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Salary Range

$120,000 - $165,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
