ABOUT THE ROLE

The Project Manager will ensure project delivery on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. This role involves collaborating with customers to provide project progress updates.

LOCATION

Onsite - St. Marys, PA or Novi, MI

Essential Functions:

1. Leading projects from award to start of production
2. Leading cross-functional, cross-site teams for successful product launches
3. Creating and executing project plans, revising as needed
4. Identifying and assigning resources and responsibilities
5. Managing day-to-day project operations
6. Applying and enforcing the Custom Product Opportunity (CPO), New Product Introduction (NPI), and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodologies
7. Preparing project tollgate reviews for leadership
8. Ensuring proper documentation management
9. Managing project budgets, including expenses, investments, sales revenue, and unit costs
10. Facilitating team and customer meetings, fostering strong relationships
11. Leading status meetings, driving actions to completion
12. Communicating scope changes effectively
13. Resolving or escalating issues promptly
14. Driving a zero-tolerance culture for execution misses
15. Managing scope and change control, escalating issues as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Experience in delivering new product development projects on time, budget, and with high quality
• Experience with APQP standards
• High energy, self-starter with boundary-less behavior
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking ability
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Project Management or Program Management certification preferred
