Job summary

HDR is hiring a Project Manager to lead small to large projects, coordinating professional staff and maintaining schedules. You will foster client relations, participate in marketing and design meetings, and ensure compliance with governing agencies.

Ideal candidates have at least 7 years of PM experience, with 2+ years in PM roles, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative, employee-owned mindset that aligns with HDR's culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7 years of related project management experience.
  • At least 2 years in a project management role.
  • Ability to interact with design teams and strong communication skills.
  • Commitment to an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects.
  • Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development.
  • Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
  • Participate in reviews with governing agencies for compliance.
  • Conduct work sessions for design development and contract documents with other staff.
  • Coordinate workload through project development and ensure documents are completed on schedule.
  • Track financial aspects and adjust work effort with the team to meet the schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for reviews.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

  • Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects

  • Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
  • Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • A license/certification
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 7 years related experience
  • A minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
