Our client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee combined sewer system.
Responsibilities
- This is a non-supervisory position.
- Plan, direct, oversee, and coordinate the operational activities of the assigned area. Manage projects, systems, work processes, or work plans based on complex data. Compile, verify, and assemble complex information for others. Provide guidance and support related to complex technical projects and studies and recommend implementation methods and solutions. Provide customer service and communication of problem resolutions for complex issues.
- Manage the engineering design process, including reviewing and analyzing detailed plan designs/technical studies, and processing applications/permits, change orders, and other documentation for proposed development or improvement projects. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. Prepare, coordinate, review, and oversee the scope of work design documents, specifications, or agendas. Review and approve plan specifications and develop contract documents, as required.
- Develop and monitor the assigned budget, review and submit funding requests, and monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with the approved budget. Prepare and present budget recommendations.
- Maintain logs, tracking systems, and specialized databases. Enter, retrieve, and analyze data. Prepare and present reports; enter routine, technical, and specialized data into department computer systems. Prepare requests for proposals and bid packages. Generate routine documents such as correspondence, manuals, electronic mail, requisitions, and purchase orders.
- Serve as key point of contact/liaison with internal/external departments or agencies. Meet with project coordinators such as consulting engineers, City representatives, and contractors; determine projected needs/use levels according to established models. Attend departmental, progress, and other meetings.

- 3-5 years full cycle project management - site plan review for sanitary/sewer (budgeting, scheduling)
