Job summary

SSi People seeks a technically minded Project Manager II to drive end-to-end Interactive Response Technology activities in a remote setting. You will help drive study timelines, system quality, stakeholder readiness, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IRT PM or IRT database design/development, with strong PM capabilities and administrative coordination skills, understanding of the IRT lifecycle within clinical studies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Interactive Response Technology project management experience or IRT database design/development experience.
• Combination of IRT/RTSM knowledge with PM skills and strong administrative capabilities.
• Understanding of the IRT lifecycle and clinical study environment.

Responsibilities

• Support IRT development from kickoff through go-live, change control, maintenance, and closeout while helping maintain study timelines.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders and CROs, draft test scenarios and provide execution support.
• Monitor system change requests with clinical teams to define updates and ensure completion through the lifecycle.
• Support vendor performance, data transfer issue resolution, documentation development, process improvement, and stakeholder training materials.

Job Summary: We are partnering with a leading clinical organization to present an exciting opportunity for a technically minded project professional who thrives in cross‑functional environments. This position supports end-to-end Interactive Response Technology activities, helping drive study timelines, system quality, stakeholder readiness, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support Interactive Response Technology development from project kickoff through go‑live, ongoing change control, maintenance, and closeout while helping maintain study timelines.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing activities, including stakeholder and CRO participation, test scenario drafting, and execution support as needed.
• Monitor system change requests, work with clinical project teams to define updates, and help ensure completion through the project lifecycle.
• Support vendor performance, data transfer issue resolution, documentation development, process improvement, and training materials for stakeholders.

Required

• Minimum of 3 years of Interactive Response Technology project management experience or Interactive Response Technology database design and development experience.
• B.A./B.S. in biology, life sciences, computer science, or a related field.
• The ideal candidate should have a combination of IRT/RTSM knowledge, project management skills, and strong administrative/coordination capabilities.
• Should understand the IRT lifecycle and clinical study environment.
• Must have stronger PM capabilities than someone with only technical IRT experience.
• Strong administrative skills are also important—documentation, signature tracking, filing, scheduling, follow‑up, etc.
• Candidates from either the vendor or sponsor/site side can be considered as long as they meet the overall qualifications.
• Should be comfortable running meetings, supporting live studies, owning maintenance activities, managing documentation/testing/signatures, and working through the IRT lifecycle from contract award through go‑live.
