Airbus Defence and Space Limited in Portsmouth is seeking an enthusiastic Project Manager to lead end-to-end development of secure communications infrastructure and software. Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will drive R&D projects through initiation to close, applying Airbus lifecycle standards and leveraging strong team leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience managing full project lifecycle from proposal through to final customer acceptance.
• Strong technical background in telecommunications or satellite systems, software or hardware development (defence applications preferred).
• Relevant practical experience managing AGILE software development projects.
• Familiar with Project Management Institute (PMI) lifecycle guidance, forming the basis of Airbus standards.

LOCATION: Portsmouth (with some hybrid working available subject to our Hybrid Working Policy)

TYPE: Full time - 37 Hours

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an enthusiastic, technically knowledgeable Project Manager to join our team in Portsmouth to drive the end-to-end development of next-generation, secure communications infrastructure and software.

Reporting directly to the Programme Manager, this is a key role in a challenging, rapidly changing environment where you will lead complex R&D projects from inception to completion.
