Job summary

Fairlead Integrated, LLC. is seeking a Production - Project Management professional in the Portsmouth, VA area to lead cross-functional program activities and optimize resource allocation across facilities.

The role emphasizes strong communication, engineering/technical expertise, and adherence to budget and schedule. 2 positions are available; traditional office environment with local facility travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must communicate and facilitate information flow between external and internal constituents.
• Must possess electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, cost management, negotiation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across the organization.
• MA/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or related field plus 2 years directly related experience, or BA/BS plus 5 years directly related experience, or AA/AS plus 7 years directly related experience, or 18 years directly related experience.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers with the goal of ensuring sufficient space and resources.

• Review reports and records to ensure progress and adjust methodologies to meet objectives.
• Implement a development program to address skill gaps.
• Ensure timely preparation of project artifacts, schedules, ETC/EAC and program reviews.
• Member of QSRT.
• Shape and capture follow-on business with current customers.
• Control expenditures per budget allocations.
• Instill accountability among team members with tight oversight of standards.
• Monitor corrective action plans and milestone dates; address internal control deficiencies.
• Confer with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for each phase.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cultivate relationships with customers with the goal of ensuring sufficient space and resources
• Develop and implement strategies that will maximize synergy among various departments
• Direct and coordinate program activities and personnel responsible for specific functions or phases of program
• Review reports and records of activities to ensure progress is being accomplished towards specified program objective and modify or change methodology as required to redirect activities to obtain objectives
• Implement a development program to address skill gaps
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of project artifacts, schedule, ETC/EAC and program reviews
• Member of QSRT
• Shape and capture follow on business with current customers
• Control expenditures in accordance with budget allocations
• Instill a sense of accountability among team members by providing tight oversight of standards
• Monitors corrective action plans and milestone dates and ensures correction of internal control deficiencies
• Confer with staff to explain program and individual responsibilities for each phase of the development

Qualifications:
