Job summary

UDR Consulting, INC is seeking a Project Manager to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project in Piketon, OH. The role centers on contract performance, staffing, training, and security compliance for escort operations.

You will serve as the primary management contact, coordinate staffing, ensure qualifications, and maintain accurate records and documentation for escort services. This position requires strong leadership and adherence to site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contract Performance: Ensure escort services meet scope, contract, site procedures and regulations.
• Primary Point of Contact: Act as the main management-level contact for coordination and performance issues.
• Staffing and Coverage: Ensure qualified personnel to meet escort needs including changes and absences.
• Personnel Qualifications: Verify supervisors/escorts meet qualifications, training, and badge requirements.
• Training Compliance: Confirm initial, refresher and remedial training is completed and documented.
• Security Compliance: Ensure understanding and enforcement of site security policies and access controls.
• Schedule Coordination: Align staffing with construction schedules and locations.
• Performance Management: Monitor performance and address deficiencies promptly.
• Corrective Actions: Investigate and document corrective actions as required.
• Incident Notification and Reporting: Report security concerns and incidents via established channels.
• Records and Documentation: Maintain personnel, qualification, training, and attendance records.

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.

Work Location: Piketon, OH

Project Manager-Responsibilities

• Contract Performance: Ensure all escort services are performed in accordance with the scope of work, contract requirements, approved site procedures, security requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the Contractor's primary management-level point of contact for coordination, performance issues, staffing concerns, schedule changes, and other matters associated with escort operations.
• Staffing and Coverage: Ensure sufficient qualified personnel are available to meet required escort coverage, including planned work, schedule changes, absences, and other staffing contingencies.
• Personnel Qualifications: Ensure all supervisors and escorts assigned to the project meet required qualifications, training, access, badging, and site-specific, refresher, and remedial training is completed and properly documented for assigned personnel.
• Training Compliance: Ensure required initial, site-specific, refresher, and remedial training is completed and properly documented for assigned personnel.
• Security Compliance: Ensure contractor personnel understand and comply with applicable site security policies, access control requirements, prohibited item restrictions, escort requirements, and reporting expectations.
• Schedule Coordination: Coordinate staffing requirements with the designated Escort Supervisors based on construction schedules, work locations, workforce levels, and anticipated escort needs.
• Performance Management: Monitor Contractor performance and promptly address personnel deficiencies, procedural violations, attendance issues, inadequate performance, or failure to comply with site requirements.
• Corrective Actions: Ensure identified deficiencies are investigated and corrected in a timely manner and that corrective actions are documented when required.
• Incident Notification and Reporting: Report all security concerns, escort violations, loss of accountability, suspicious activity, access control issues, or other reportable events and are immediately communicated through established site reporting channels.
• Records and Documentation: Maintain accurate personnel, qualification, training, staffing, attendance, and performance documentation as requirements and identity opportunities for improvement.

Quality Assurance

Periodically evaluate escort operations to verify compliance with contractual requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Emergency and Contingency Support: Ensure adequate management and staffing response is available for unexpected schedule changes, personnel shortages, emergencies, or other conditions affecting escort operations.
• Overall Accountability: Maintain overall responsibility for contractor personnel performance and ensure escort services are executed safely, professionally, consistently, and in accordance with all established requirements.
