Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC, based in California, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee operational aspects of ongoing manufacturing projects. You will liaise between project management, planning, the project team, and production operations to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality meet client goals.

Requirements include 5+ years in large-scale projects, cross-functional coordination across manufacturing, engineering, and quality, and proficiency with Jira and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience running projects greater than $3 million in value.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams including production operations (manufacturing, engineering, quality).

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between project management, planning, project team and production operations management.
• Review project status, manage schedules, prepare status reports and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Develop monitoring mechanisms for progress and intervene with project managers and production teams to resolve issues.
• Manage cross-functional projects across multiple teams and programs.

Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project mangers, and production teams. Managing cross functional projects across multiple teams and the program.

5 years experience running projects greater than $3 million in value.

5 years experience working projects and coordinating with cross functional teams including production operations (manufacturing teams, engineering teams, and quality). Experience must include working projects in a manufacturing environment.

3 years experience working in JIRA and Microsoft project.

BS degree in business or engineering required.

PMP Certification Is Preferred, But Not Required.
