Leidos is seeking a driven Project Manager to join the NISC team in support of the FAA's radar modernization. You will plan, organize, and manage resources to achieve program goals, coordinating with task leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel to bring new equipment online at FAA facilities.

The role requires strong expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and program documentation, with proficiency in MS Project and Excel.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting the FAA.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all projects schedules are met and within budget constraints.
  • Provide timely/accurate responses to all technical and program inquiries received.
  • Assist in budget formulation activities utilizing FAA government databases.
  • Author required documents in support of program schedules.
  • Work independently to achieve day-to-day Program objectives which may significantly impact operational results or program objectives.
  • Update project schedules as required and provide input to FAA construction managers.
  • Organize impromptu telecons/meetings to ensure all project maintain schedule and cost.
  • Utilizing special client databases, provide programmatic input to other team members.
  • Perform investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

Leidos is currently seeking a driven, results oriented and motivated self-starter with a project and program management background to join the NISC team as a Project Manager in support of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) surveillance and radar modernization effort. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives. Duties may include ensuring that all projects run within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role also interfaces with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel coordinating activities to bring new equipment online at FAA facilities. The candidate will work independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments and may assist other professionals with tasks and assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all projects schedules are met and within budget constraints.

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting the FAA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of FAA radar technology.
  • Technical background (Highly preferred).
  • Lean/Six Sigma Analysis skills.
  • Data Analytics.
  • Data architecture.

Pay Range: Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
