Job summary

Whiting-Turner Contracting Company in Oklahoma is seeking a qualified Project Manager to lead commercial construction programs in a fast-paced, team-based environment. You will supervise multiple trades, manage schedules and budgets, and drive safety and quality on site.

Candidates should have 3 to 15+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to mentor teams, interface with owners, architects, and engineers, and deliver projects with minimal delays.

Qualifications

• 3–15+ years of project management experience on commercial projects.
• Proven ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontract trades.
• Experience managing on-site costs and safety/quality focus.
• Leadership and mentorship within diverse teams.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Construction Management.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience interfacing with owners, architects, engineers, and on-site management.
• Change order presentation and negotiation experience.
• Ability to prepare schedules and manage progress; project accounting skills.
• Scheduling software experience.

Qualified candidates shall possess 3 to 15+ years of experience in the industry and a track record for delivering complex projects with minimal delays and emphasis on delighting the customer. It is important for a candidate to have a proven ability to manage a team, schedule and costs while focused on the safety and quality on the project.
