Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects with minimal delays, focusing on customer delight.
- Manage a team, schedule, costs while prioritizing safety and quality.
- Interface with owners, architects, engineers and site management teams.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate subcontract trades.
- Prepare schedules and manage progress.
- Prepare change order presentation & negotiation.
- Perform scope writing/definition.
- Manage subcontract award/buy‑out.
- Manage financial impacts on site.
- Provide project accounting skills.
- Utilize scheduling software.
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written.
Qualifications
- 5 to 15 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Leadership and mentoring skills within diverse teams.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Knowledge of construction principles and passion for success/advancement.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or Construction Technology.
- Experience managing financial impacts on site.
- Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate subcontract trades.
- Experience in owner/architect/engineer interface and site team management.
- Experience with subcontract award/buy‑out, scope writing, change order presentation & negotiation.
- Project accounting and scheduling/software skills.
- Practitioner of continuous improvement.
Salary Range
The base salary range for this position represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting and is dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, level, relevant education, experience, training, skills and abilities, location, and market and business considerations. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of the various factors identified above. The foregoing information reflects base salary only and does not include other forms of available compensation to which employees may be entitled including, but not limited to, profit sharing, appreciation rights, retirement compensation, travel subsistence, holiday contribution, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, healthcare (including dental and vision benefits), life insurance, disability insurance, and other compensations/benefits, which are dependent upon various factors including but not limited to years of service, location, performance, etc. The annual base salary range listed is subject to change at any time, in the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at‑will nature of the employment relationship.
