Responsibilities

• Provides overall management of project cost, personnel, planning, and scheduling
• Implements quality control measures and ensures adherence to project standards
• Assists in contract management and administration
• Coordinates activities to assure effective contract performance
• Attends and actively participates in scheduled and unscheduled meetings
• Acts with authority on matters relating to daily operations, emphasizing technology services for DoD programs
• Supports development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Assists in resource allocation and task assignment
• Monitors project progress and reports to senior management
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables on time and within budget
• Leads cross-functional teams to meet project goals
• Cultivates and maintains strong client relationships at senior levels
• SME serves as a technical advisor in relevant domains

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
• 3-8 years of experience in project management, preferably in technology services or defense projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies
• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting
• Familiarity with government contracting, especially DoD
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Senior:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field or equivalent experience
• 8-11 years of progressive project management experience in relevant domains
• Proven success managing large-scale projects
• Leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management skills
• Expertise in project management tools and methodologies
• Experience with financial and resource management
• Deep understanding of government contracting and DoD processes
• Security clearance eligibility

SME:

• Master's degree or higher in technical field or equivalent experience
• At least 12 years of experience in managing complex projects, especially in government contexts
• Recognized technical expertise in relevant domains
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder skills
• Proficiency in project management tools and federal regulations
• Extensive financial and resource management experience
• Ability to obtain high-level security clearances

Desired Qualifications

Intermediate & Senior:

• Master's degree
• PMP or equivalent certification
• Experience with Agile and traditional methodologies
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations
• Risk management and quality assurance experience
• Proficiency in EVMS
• Experience in process improvements

SME:

• Ph.D. in relevant technical field
• Additional technical certifications
• Experience with emerging technologies
• Publication or speaking engagements
• Experience driving innovation

Pay Range

The salary varies based on location, experience, skills, and certifications. The proposed range is $86,800-$191,000. We offer comprehensive benefits including healthcare, wellness, retirement, and education support.

This position can be remote or in various locations, with the salary range reflecting the national average.
