Job summary

Pavion Corp is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our security business unit in Norwell, MA. You will manage a portfolio of projects from planning to warranty, lead a diverse team, and coordinate budgets, procurement and schedules.

The role requires 2–4 years PM experience, a relevant BS degree, and willingness to travel across New England. Hybrid schedule with remote/in-home work is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience leading projects as a Project Manager with knowledge of PM processes.
• Bachelor degree in Engineering/Construction/PM or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Management of assigned project portfolio with total portfolio revenue between $5–$15mil.
• Supervise project team through planning, design, installation, turnover and warranty.
• Develop and motivate the project team for maximum performance.
• Coordinate resource assignments and maintain schedules/cost estimates.
• Oversee budget, procurement, engineering, cost and construction activities.
• Project administration including meetings, RFIs, transmittals, and change management.
• Support Service Department with issues from deployed systems.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Management of assigned project portfolio. Total portfolio revenue expectations to manage ranges from $5-$15mil
• Supervise and direct project team during planning, estimating, design, installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover, and warranty of assigned projects
• Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
• Coordination and management of resource assignments based upon project requirements and technician skillset
• Manage the development of project plans prior to project activity assuring effective execution by the project team. Prepare and update project schedule and cost estimates
• Coordinate and provide direction for the budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, cost, and construction (as applicable) functions as they relate to project completion. Oversee and coordinate all equipment procurement and associated delivery cycles
• Project administration (meeting coordination, construction schedules, transmittals, RFI's, change management, punch lists)
• Support Service Department as necessary with issues arising from recently deployed or turned over systems

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-4 years' experience leading projects as a Project Manager with a strong foundational knowledge of project execution, initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent work experience or related curriculum
• Valid Drivers License and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to travel throughout New England as projects require (MA, NH, ME, RI and CT)
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must be able to work a hybrid schedule between remote/ in-home office and Norwell, MA branch office
• Position will require occasional travel to client and project locations to deliver goods/ material as needed
• Strong foundational knowledge of Project Management processes, procedures, methods, and techniques
• Proficient with CRM or ERP software including resource scheduling tools and material management
• Proficient with computers and basic Microsoft Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), including mobile applications
• Must be able to demonstrate persistence, tactfulness and responsibility; maintain silence regarding confidential information; make decisions based on personal judgment and verifiable criteria; deal effectively with people in actual job duties beyond giving and receiving instructions; perceive details in a variety of written materials; communicate effectively; understand and apply proper terminology and methods; reason clearly and logically; work with numbers; read and interpret reports; communicate well
• Must be self-motivated and must work well with others in a team environment
• Must possess strong written and oral communications skills
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Experience of customer retention and satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-4 years construction management related experience
• Industry Project Management Certifications such as a PMI CAPM, PMI PMP, Avixa CTS or CSPM
• Experience leading security, communications, audiovisual and healthcare projects
• OSHA 10

The salary range for this position is $90,000-120,000 annually. The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
