Job summary

Gestamp is seeking a Project Manager to direct and supervise ongoing projects, ensuring objectives across scope, schedule, and cost are met. You will represent Gestamp to the client and coordinate internal and external resources for timely, quality delivery at the plant.

The role requires leading international stamping projects with strong negotiation and planning skills, travel to client offices as needed, and comprehensive documentation to support project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level engineering degree required; Masters preferred in Industrial Mgmt or Project Mgmt.
• HNC in Mechanical Manufacturing with substantial international project management experience.
• Minimum 3 years leading international stamping projects.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise project management, ensuring scope/schedule/cost objectives are met.
• Develop detailed project plans and manage risks to minimize deviations.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for flawless execution.
• Make key decisions and take initiative on project components.
• Inform client of progress and assist visits to the plant.
• Coordinate delivery of dies and Try Out dates.
• Report to management and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Engineer’s Degree

Project Manager

Direct, implement and supervise the management of the projects in progress, Ensuring the fulfillment of the objectives of the Organization from its area of responsibility. The PM represents the Organization to the Client and make sure all aspects of the project (Scope / Schedule / Cost) are managed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the relationship and negotiation with the assigned Client, preferably in their language. It will be necessary to travel to the Client’s offices if it is required.
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress and perform risk management to minimize project risks (budget and control of deviations).
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
• Decision making and initiative required regarding the projects’ pieces.
• Inform the Client of the progress and assist him in his visits to the Plant.
• Ensure and coordinate the deliveries of dies and Try Out dates.
• Report and escape to management as needed.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Engineer’s Degree – Engineer Diploma (DI) + Master’s Degree in Industrial Mgmt. or Project Mgmt.
• Certificate of Higher Education (HNC) in Mechanical Manufacturing, with 15 years of Professional experience in International Project Management.
• Minimum 3-year experience leading International Projects in Stamping Industry
