Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in New York is seeking a Project Manager to lead designated projects and tenant improvements on client sites, coordinating with facility management and owners to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, reports across design and construction phases, overseeing consultants and contractors, reviewing invoices, and ensuring safety and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • Minimum 5 years directly related project accountability experience; minimum 5 years project management experience.
  • Hands-on experience supervising teams in engineering/construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare agendas, develop and maintain master project budgets and timelines for each project and phase.
  • Coordinate project reports and drawing reviews at conceptual, schematic, design development and construction phases.
  • Assist in the selection, contracting, and oversight of consultants and construction teams.
  • Review requisitions, change orders and other invoices and discuss costs with client and property management.
  • Support marketing of services to clients.
  • Adhere to corporate, building, and client policies and procedures.
  • Cooperate with building/facility personnel to meet quality, service, cost, and profit goals.
  • Report major problems with recommendations to management.
  • Advise on organizational changes and potential expenditures beyond approved budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, building codes, safety regulations, etc.
  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards and continuously improve skills.
