Novax Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead major structural steel projects in the NYC market. The role involves managing cost, schedule and scope from planning through delivery, with close coordination between clients, contractors and the fabrication facility.

The position is hybrid, centered around NYC, with regular travel to the fabrication site and company-paid expenses.

Why This Role Matters

A growing structural steel and advanced bridge fabrication business is looking for an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to oversee major projects across the New York City market.

This is a hybrid position based around NYC, offering the opportunity to work closely with clients, contractors and project partners while maintaining direct coordination with a major fabrication facility.

You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through delivery, ensuring cost, schedule, scope and client expectations remain firmly under control.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from award through completion
• Take ownership of project cost, schedule and scope
• Coordinate detailing, engineering and fabrication activities
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors and project stakeholders
• Manage change orders and project documentation
• Coordinate material procurement, production and delivery schedules
• Work closely with the fabrication team
• Coordinate erection and site delivery requirements
• Monitor project risks and resolve issues before they affect delivery
• Produce accurate progress reports, forecasts and project updates
• Travel regularly to their facility, with company-paid expenses
