Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle is seeking a Hybrid PDS Project Manager to lead day-to-day project management, coordinate multiple projects, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. The role demands on-site presence 4-5 days a week and a strong background in commercial construction, budgets, and schedules. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Location includes Las Vegas, NV and Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 5+ years of PM experience, and knowledge of building

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and local regulations.
• Familiarity with LEED certification processes.
• Ability to prepare and track budgets, forecasts, schedules, and project risk assessments.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced team or independent environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Project Management Applications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20-30%

Responsibilities

Hybrid position PDS Project Manager

What this job involves

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Manager to provide reliable, timely, and professional support, and lead day to day project management activities. The position entails working with a group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.

Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

• Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
• On site presence 4-5 days per week
• Develop scope, schedule and budget for assigned projects
• Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential risk surrounding project, project logistical issues, budget and scope
• Create, coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (“RFPs”)
• Interact and negotiate with contractors and vendors
• Prepare/update project status reports, process invoices, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence and financials
• Actively track project schedule against critical path to identify risk
• Coordinate the activities of vendors and contractors based on scope and schedule, inclusive of critical support spaces
• Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all Project Development Services technology as required for assigned projects.
• Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience in project management
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex commercial construction projects across a wide array of project types ranging from office space to manufacturing facilities
• Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials
• Proficiency in reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Knowledge of building codes, ADA requirements, and local jurisdictional regulations
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification processes
• Ability to prepare and track budgets, forecasts, schedules, and project risk assessments
• Ability to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced team or independent environment
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client representatives, and team members
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Project Management Applications
• Willingness to travel approximately 20‑30%

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related discipline)
• LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification
• AIA (American Institute of Architects) professional membership or credentials
• PE (Professional Engineer) license
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
