Job summary

The BJC Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager in the Nashville area to join their team. This is a full-time, salaried position.

Work is primarily in the office but will require travel to job sites and may involve early starts as 7am and late as 7pm, including weekends. You will report to the Vice President and oversee scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with architects and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of construction techniques and processes.
• Ability to read and decipher complex construction plans and specifications.
• Develop construction schedules for both short duration and overall projects.
• Develop construction budgets for small and large scale jobs.
• Direct crews and assign tasks/goals.
• Daily/weekly production goals.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, emails, and network-based file access.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to Operations Manager.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety compliance and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, including cost estimation and expense tracking.
• Utilize ProCore and BlueBeam to track project documentation and communication.
• Exhibit strong time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, vendors and subcontractors.
