Job summary

AESC US is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to support execution of utility-scale energy storage projects. You will manage documentation, scheduling, and cross-team coordination to keep complex deployments on track.

Responsibilities include coordinating with sales, engineering, procurement and services, maintaining records, and supporting commissioning and service activities with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2–4 years of project coordination or operations experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager to support the execution of utility-scale energy storage and infrastructure projects. This role will focus on project administration, scheduling, documentation, and internal cross-team coordination to ensure smooth delivery of complex projects. The Project Manager will work closely with sales managers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to maintain project momentum from initiation through completion.

What You Will Do
Project Management
  • Serve as the central point of contact for project documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Support sales managers and project managers in tracking milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure timely execution of project tasks.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including meeting minutes, action items, and progress reports.
  • Assist with preparation of project proposals, RFP/RFQ responses, and client-facing documentation.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, escalating risks or delays to senior management.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, sales, and services).
  • Support compliance with organizational standards, safety requirements, and quality assurance processes.
Technical Management
  • Lead remote commissioning activities for energy storage systems, including system configuration, functional testing, and performance validation.
  • Act as the technical authority during commissioning, guiding and directing the commissioning team to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform and oversee technical service work, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for energy storage systems.
  • Provide advanced technical support for service issues and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex challenges.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning and service documentation, including test reports and maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulatory guidelines during all commissioning and service activities.
  • Offer technical training and mentorship to commissioning and service team members.
What You Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of project coordination, project support, or operations experience; exposure to utility-scale energy, infrastructure, or construction projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical and commercial information clearly.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
What is “Nice to Have”?
  • Knowledge of energy storage systems, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of permitting, interconnection, and regulatory processes.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and project tracking systems.
