Job summary

Konik is partnering with an established electronics manufacturer in Blaine, MN to hire a Program/Project Manager for coordinating programs involving cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and interconnect solutions. This is a customer-facing role emphasizing planning, communication, and execution with the central contact point for programs.

The role requires coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and suppliers, managing schedules, changes, and production launches.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or program management within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal departments and customers; regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer programs from requirements and design reviews through quoting, prototyping, production launch and delivery.
• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned customers with regular communication and clear understanding of requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers and internal teams.
• Track status, identify delays, and drive follow-up actions through to completion.
• Coordinate engineering changes, customer requests, and production updates.
• Assist with quoting and new product introductions by coordinating information between customers and internal teams.
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, production meetings, and status reviews.

Program/Project Manager – Cable & Wire Harness

Blaine, MN | Direct Hire | $75k-$90k

Konik is partnering with an established electronics manufacturer seeking a Program/Project Manager to coordinate customer programs involving cable assemblies, wire harnesses, electronic assemblies, and custom interconnect solutions.

This is a customer-facing role focused on planning, communication, coordination, and execution. The Program/Project Manager will serve as the central point of contact for assigned programs, keeping customers and internal teams aligned on requirements, schedules, engineering changes, production activities, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer programs from initial requirements and design review through quoting, prototyping, production launch, and delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, maintaining regular communication and ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly understood.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and other internal teams.
• Track project status, identify potential delays or issues, and drive follow-up actions through completion.
• Coordinate engineering changes, customer requests, production updates, and other program activities.
• Help manage customer requirements, drawings, specifications, bills of material, and other project documentation.
• Support quoting and new product introduction activities by coordinating information between customers and internal technical teams.
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, production meetings, and project status reviews.
• Manage multiple programs and priorities while maintaining clear communication and visibility across the organization.

Qualifications

• Project management, program management, project coordination, or similar experience within a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Experience working with customers and coordinating projects involving multiple internal departments.
• Experience with electronics, electromechanical products, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, or similar manufactured products preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating new product introduction, production launches, engineering changes, or similar manufacturing projects preferred.
• Experience within medical device, aerospace, defense, or another regulated manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Proactive problem solver who takes ownership of projects and follows issues through to resolution.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
