Job summary

MAFÉ Resources in South Florida is seeking a Project Manager to oversee public-sector and institutional construction from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, field leadership, and internal teams while upholding safety and quality standards.

  • Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, change orders, and client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and project controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction-management and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work onsite and travel to active projects throughout South Florida as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from preconstruction and procurement through construction and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Lead owner, architect, contractor, and internal project meetings.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, performance, compliance, and payment processes.
  • Monitor project costs, identify financial risks, and maintain accurate forecasting.
  • Partner closely with the Superintendent to support safety, quality, scheduling, and field execution.
  • Ensure compliance with public-sector requirements, building codes, contract documents, and company standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and proactively resolve project challenges.
  • Oversee project turnover, punch-list completion, documentation, and final closeout.

Upcoming work includes police headquarters, fire stations, parking garages, municipal facilities, and higher-education projects, including nursing and STEM buildings.

Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements. This individual will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, field leadership, and internal teams while maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
