Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical data center projects from initiation to closeout. You will collaborate with the Project Executive, Field Leadership, and clients to drive successful outcomes, manage teams, and ensure safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5+ years in project management within electrical data center construction, with proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6, and a commitment to safety standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ proven years of experience as a Project Manager in electrical data center construction.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, change orders, scheduling, take-offs, and client communication.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards with NFPA 70E or OSHA Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and initiation with clients, engineers, and stakeholders; develop plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Build and lead project teams including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors; monitor performance.
  • Coordinate resources, materials, equipment, and personnel; manage procurement and vendor relations.
  • Oversee project execution, safety, quality, and timely delivery; regularly report progress to clients.
  • Manage changes and scope adjustments; document and communicate to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with electrical codes; conduct inspections as needed.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and invoices; close out projects with final reports.

Job Summary

Loenbro is currently looking for a Project Manager to join the team. As a Project Manager, you will be an essential part of our project team, leading the successful execution of several projects. You will work closely with the Project Executive, Field Leadership, and customers, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the project’s overall success.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project execution. Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Team Management: Build and lead project teams, including electricians, technicians, and subcontractors. Assign tasks, set clear expectations, and monitor team performance to ensure project objectives are met. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate and allocate necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to meet project requirements. Manage procurement and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Project Execution and Monitoring: Supervise all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Monitor project progress, budget, and timelines, and take proactive measures to address any issues or deviations. Regularly communicate project status to clients and stakeholders.
  • Change Management: Handle project changes and scope adjustments efficiently, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and costs. Document and communicate changes to all relevant parties.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, reports, and records. Prepare and deliver regular progress reports to management and clients.
  • Project Closure: Conduct project reviews to evaluate performance against project objectives and client expectations. Ensure all project deliverables are completed, and necessary documentation is provided to clients. Prepare and submit final project reports and invoices.
Required
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ proven years of recent experience as a Project Manager in the electrical data center construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools including but not limited to Bluebeam, Procore, Accubid, and P6.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, change order requests, scheduling, take-off meetings, and client communication.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards with NFPA 70E or OSHA Certification.
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field
