Vanguard Electric seeks a highly skilled Project Manager to lead low-voltage control wiring projects for large-scale datacenter builds. This on-site role reports to the Project Executive and oversees field teams to ensure seamless, high-quality execution.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in project management for electrical or control wiring, strong client-facing communication, and a proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and safety standards across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in low-voltage electrical or control wiring projects.
• Datacenter project experience highly preferred.
• Prior project management experience is a major plus.
• Excellent communicator with a confident, client-facing presence.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings and technical plans.
• Familiarity with estimating, budgeting, billing, and other project financial processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple moving parts and anticipate project needs.
• Safety-first mindset with knowledge of site compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Willingness to travel throughout Texas and relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day project operations.
• Lead, mentor, and support field superintendents, foremen, and tradespeople on-site.
• Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain alignment and keep the project on track.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all construction phases.
• Drive QA/QC processes to ensure high-quality control wiring and installations.
• Oversee materials, labor, and equipment for maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Address real-time issues and implement proactive solutions.
• Coordinate with HR, Payroll, Housing, and Safety teams to support smooth operations.
• Oversee material deliveries, expediting, and inventory flow.
• Assist with tracking project financials including change orders, billing, and budgeting.
• Maintain relationships with the GC/CM, Owner, and their representatives.
• Establish scheduling, earned value, and labor analysis activities daily/weekly/monthly.
• Evaluate project risks, maintain a risk register, and implement mitigation plans.
• Attend monthly PSR meetings with Regional Operations Manager and Finance.
• Foster team morale and leadership within the field workforce.
• Support and uphold safety initiatives for a safe workplace.
• Promote an Incident and Injury Free Workplace and participate in required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
