Overview
CareView Communications (PK: CRVW) is an information technology provider serving the healthcare industry, focused on improving patient safety and reducing operational costs. Installed in over 200 hospitals nationwide, our solutions include advanced patient safety products and software that enable real-time bedside patient monitoring. We deploy a proprietary high-speed data network within healthcare facilities using their existing cable television infrastructure to power the CareView Patient Safety System® and a suite of integrated software applications, including entertainment and educational content to enhance the patient experience.
Job Overview
The Project Manager will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of technology solutions within healthcare environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in alignment with client expectations. This role is based out of Lewisville, Texas and you must be able to commute to our office multiple days a week.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation through delivery. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource needs in alignment with CareView’s solutions. Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal resources and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication. Manage expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the project. Schedule and conduct the project’s kickoff call, weekly clinical and technical implementation calls, and go-live.
- Cross-Functional Team Leadership: Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, technical operations, logistics, development, clinical, and client operations to ensure timely and successful implementation of projects.
- Resource & Budget Management: Review project budgets and communicate billing milestones, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Deliver projects within budget and on schedule.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, troubleshoot challenges during the project lifecycle, and escalate as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular project reviews to track progress and scope adherence.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project documentation, including plans, timelines, and status reports. Prepare regular updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to enhancing CareView’s project management processes and streamline workflows through retrospectives and assessments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience in project management, preferably within healthcare technology or related industries.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations and technology systems (e.g., video monitoring, patient engagement systems, data analytics).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage risks and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Preferred Experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, information technology, or a related field.
