Job summary

Steelman Partners LLP in Las Vegas seeks an Architect Project Manager to lead a team of architects and designers from concept through build, balancing creativity with business acumen.

You will mentor staff, drive project schedules, ensure code compliance, review shop drawings, coordinate clients and consultants, and deliver high-quality spaces for a diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

  • A professional degree in architecture or interior design (License if “Project Architect”).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of Revit.
  • Proficiency of Model Building Codes and other regulatory agencies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, prioritization, organization and follow through.
  • Agility and flexibility. Must be a team player that can handle multiple tasks.
  • Desire to work on all phases of a project through construction completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage one or more projects
  • Implement highly developed skills in client and consultant communications and coordination
  • Create project scheduling and milestone delivery
  • Manage project team’s utilization based on project fees
  • Utilize strong understanding of building systems and technical detailing
  • Execute the construction administration phase of projects
  • Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance to specifications
  • Process RFI’s and submittals
  • Responsible for the complete integration of design intent and technical aspects of the project
  • Responsible for setting team goals and follow through
  • Monitor the performance of the project team to assure that the Firm’s quality standards and design goals are being met
  • Lead project related meeting and discussions
  • Provide mentorship and be able to direct work to team members
  • Develop and maintain successful client relationships for repeat business

It’s your job to lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects. With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging. You will leverage your technical and design acumen to drive client projects from concept through build in a collaborative team while mentoring your team members.
