Job summary

GPAC seeks a Project Manager for an Indiana-based construction organization focused on commercial building projects. You will coordinate contracts, budgets, and schedules, working closely with the Project Executive and Estimator to ensure smooth execution and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires a degree in Construction Management or related field and 5 years of commercial construction experience, utilizing Sage, ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, and Smart Bid.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Commercial Building Construction.
• Experience with industry software: Sage, ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Smart Bid.
• Safety-first mindset and commitment to quality and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Project Executive to set up contracts/P.O.s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, project schedule.
• Coordinate with the Estimator on project budget, scope, and potential risks.
• Execute owner contracts as required and review subcontractor quotes.
• Review quantities with Estimator and review subcontracts before signing.
• Conduct thorough reviews with the field superintendent on plans, specs, critical items, and deadlines.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the Project Executive to set-up contracts/P.O.’s, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, project schedule
• Coordinate with the Estimator on the project budget, project scope, potential problems such as critical items and/or special hazards
• Execute owner contract as may be required
• Confirm all quantities with Estimator
• Review returned subcontracts before signing
• Thorough review with the field superintendent of the plans and specifications for layout/dimensions and critical items, subcontractor/supplier list and their scopes of work, delivery and submittal items and timing, project schedule, project budget, testing/inspection reports/results, permits, daily log and travel policy, meeting agendas, project delays, change order work, etc.

Project Manager Minimum Qualifications:

• A degree in Construction Management or Construction/Civil Engineering/Architecture strongly preferred
• 5 years of experience in Commercial Building Construction
• Experience with technology: Sage, ProCore, OnScreen Takeoff, SmartSheets, BlueBeam, Smart Bid
