Job summary

Alliance Automation, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to drive automation projects from inception to completion. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet customer expectations while managing budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

You will lead efforts with engineers and vendors, ensure proactive risk management, and maintain clear communication to deliver exceptional customer experiences. PMP is a plus; 3–7 years of PM experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of project management experience in automation/manufacturing.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines and quality expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget and timeline adherence.
  • Proactively manage project risks, develop mitigation plans, and implement solutions.
  • Act as primary contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to report progress and resolve challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers and vendors to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Identify process improvements to optimize project delivery.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of automation projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer expectations, manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead automation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring scope, budget, and timeline adherence.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
  • 3-7 years of project management experience, preferably in automation, manufacturing, or industrial solutions.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies.

  • Experience managing budgets, project timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Proficiency in project management tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Possess a general understanding in the areas of mechanical engineering (tooling design, machining processes); electrical engineering (controls & automation) & machinebuilding practices. The Project Manager needs a solid technical understanding to enable them to maintain all the things necessary for the project.
