Project Manager – Robotics / Automation

Location: Remote (Ohio preferred)

Salary: $125,000 – $135,000 base + 12.5% bonus

Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of technology, operations, and customer delivery?

This opportunity is to lead the deployment of advanced robotic and automation solutions for industrial material handling across North America.

In this client-facing and highly cross-functional role, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of projects, from purchase order through to successful handover. You’ll be the driving force ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budgets are consistently achieved while building strong customer relationships along the way.

What You’ll Do

• Lead 3–5 concurrent deployment projects, balancing scope, cost, and schedule.
• Define, manage, and mitigate risks while driving projects to successful outcomes.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, manufacturing, and finance teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, system testing, and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Guide and support field engineers, optimizing resources and execution.
• Monitor budgets, revenue recognition, gross margin, and cash collection.
• Document key learnings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial, automation, or high-tech environments.
• 3+ years’ technical experience (e.g. robotics, embedded software, automation, mechanical or systems engineering).
• Strong technical fluency across mechanics, electronics, and/or industrial software.
• Proven ability to manage customer-facing deployment projects.
• Excellent communication skills; able to influence across teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical, structured, and proactive problem solver with a data-driven mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally across North America.
