The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience managing projects in professional settings, with knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methods.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects in a professional environment.
  • End-to-end project management from planning through closure.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
  • Ability to influence project team members without direct authority.
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferred.
  • Familiarity with sprint planning, storyboards, and backlog refinement.
  • PMP or similar certifications are a plus.
  • Healthcare or PBM industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in office: 10%; Work from home: 90% for in-state employees; 100% remote for out-of state employees

Position Summary and Scope of Responsibilities:

The Project Manager isresponsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned projects from initiation through closure while ensuring adherence todefined scope, timelines, and quality expectations. This role focuses on execution excellence, day-to-day project coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with business partners, functional teams, and PMO Manager to translateapproved business needs intoactionableproject plans, track progress, and manage risks and issues as they arise.

The Project Manager is primarily accountable for managing2-4concurrentprojects or well-definedinitiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed as expected and aligned with organizational priorities. This role operates within established project management standardsand methodologies and contributes to consistent, reliable project delivery across the organization.TheProject Manager may also support technology enabledoperational enhancements/IT releasesscheduled on a monthly cadence.

What You’ll Do:
Project Execution and Delivery
  • Manage assigned projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and task assignments. Ensure documentation remains up to date.
  • Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within agreed scope
  • Coordinate project activitiesacross cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Lead project meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed throughupon
  • Adjust project timelines and plans when priorities shift and communicate impacts clearly
  • Lead project closure activities, including documentation, handoff, and lessons learned
  • Documentgeneral business requirementsas provided bybusinessstakeholders
Risk, Issue, and Change Management
  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact deliveryandcommunicate accordingly
  • Implement mitigation strategiesby working with key stakeholders and elevate risks and issues appropriately
  • Manage scope changes through change control processes
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact forassigned projects
  • Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders and team members
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise project status updates and reports
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership
Collaboration and PMO Support
  • Partner with PMO Manager to align projects with portfolio priorities and capacity
  • Provide regular updates to PMO Manager, including risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement
  • Contribute to continuous improvementof project management practices, templates, and tools
  • Support consistent adoption of project management standards and methodologies
Qualifications& Key Competencies:

Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar.

Experience/Knowledge:
  • 3+ yearsofexperience managing projects in a professional environment
  • Manageprojects with proven record of end-to-end management from planning through closure
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influenceproject team members
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)preferred
  • Familiarity withsprint planning,storyboards, andbacklog refinement preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certificationsare a plus
  • Experience inhealthcare orPrescriptionBenefitManagement(PBM)preferred
  • Works underminimalsupervisionwith guidanceavailableon complex decisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Technical & Professional Skills:
  • Proficiency in project management softwaresuch as Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana, ServiceNow,Monday.com,etc.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing prioritiesand manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
