Deneen Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and lead industrial controls engineering projects, including programming and hardware design for automation systems.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and at least two years’ experience, with responsibilities spanning power distribution design, NEC compliance, PLC/HMI programming, and AutoCAD drawings. Expect client collaboration and budget-conscious scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial controls or related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution and NEC compliance.

Responsabilités

• Create electrical engineering power distribution designs for automated solutions.
• Develop controls and automation hardware designs per project scope.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC and local electrical codes.
• Program automated control of industrial processes using Rockwell and Siemens software.
• Design motion control solutions and program PLCs (state/logic).
• Develop HMIs and electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
• Perform system testing after design/build completion.
• Coordinate project activities between Deneen Corporation and client staff.
• Delegate tasks to engineers and subcontractors to meet timelines and budget.
• Monitor hours vs. budget and report status to General Manager.

Responsibilities

Create electrical engineering power distribution designs for power provision to automated solutions.

Accomplish controls and automation hardware design tasks tocomply withthe specifications of the project scope.

Confirm that the electrical engineering and automation hardware designs conform to National Electric Code (NEC) and local electrical codes of the customer’s region.

Program the automated control of industrial processes using, but not limited to, Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, Rockwell Automation Connected Components Workbench, Rockwell AutomationRSLinx, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, and Siemens TIA Portal software.

Design motion control solutions using Rockwell Motion Analyzer software and RSLogix5000 Motion Programming.

Program both combinational logic andstatetransition logic for programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

Create programs for Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Design electrical engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

Perform system testing of the manufactured automation systems after design and build completion.

Manage the collaboration of the project between team members from both Deneen Corporation and the customer’s staff.

Delegate responsibilities to engineers and subcontractors for efficient accomplishment of project tasks.

Manage the work-hours invested on the project vs the budgeted time for each task of the project – report the status of time resources to the General Manager on a routine basis
