Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a range of projects from initial planning through to completion. This role will suit an organised and motivated professional who can manage competing priorities, build effective relationships and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standard.

You will work closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders to define project objectives, establish delivery plans and monitor progress. You will be expected to provide clear communication throughout the project lifecycle, identify potential risks at an early stage and take decisive action to keep projects on track.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation and scoping through to implementation, review and close-out.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Coordinate project teams, assigning responsibilities and ensuring actions are completed.
• Monitor progress against agreed milestones, costs, quality standards and deliverables.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Prepare accurate reports, updates and documentation for stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops and project reviews, ensuring decisions and actions are recorded.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and external suppliers.
• Support continuous improvement by capturing lessons learnt and applying best practice.

About you

You will have demonstrable experience managing projects in a structured environment, with a strong understanding of project governance, planning and reporting. Excellent organisational, problem-solving and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage deadlines and remain effective when priorities change.

Experience using project management software and working with budgets, performance measures and risk registers would be advantageous. A recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile certification, is desirable but not essential.
