Job summary

Seal Dynamics, a HEICO Company, in Hauppauge, NY, seeks a Project Manager to lead cross-functional aerospace distribution initiatives and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on bridging Operations, Sales, Accounting, and IT to ensure on-time delivery and contract compliance across multiple programs.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of PM experience, PMP/PRINCE2, and Lean Six Sigma skills, with strong KPIs, data-driven decisions, and executive communication capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Active PMP or PRINCE2 certification; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt desirable.
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or related industries preferred.
• Experience developing KPIs and using data to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage aerospace distribution projects from initiation through closeout, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, compliance, and stakeholder communications.
• Translate strategic goals into work plans with clear ownership, measurable outcomes and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, IT, Product Management, HR, and Leadership to define requirements and deliverables meeting KPIs.
• Lead Kaizens and Continuous Improvement sessions to translate business needs into practical plans.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methods to identify root causes, eliminate waste, and improve process performance.
• Define and monitor KPIs that measure project health, operational performance, and adoption.
• Work with Data Scientists to create dashboards showing forecasts, trends, risks and results.
• Present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.

Seal Dynamics is currently hiring a Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects and support continuous improvement across the company.

On-site in Hauppauge, Long Island, NY. This is not a remote or hybrid position, and it is not a contract role. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Purpose

The Project Manager role will act as the vital bridge connecting cross-functional teams across Seal Dynamics, including Operations, Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Product Management, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to lead strategic projects and ensure program execution, contract compliance, and on-time delivery to commercial and defense aerospace customers using Continuous Improvement Methodologies. The role converts business KPIs into project plans, aligns stakeholders, manages risks and resources, and drives projects through successful completion.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and manage aerospace distribution projects and programs from initiation through closeout, including scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, compliance requirements, and stakeholder communications
• Translate strategic goals into work plans with clear ownership, measurable outcomes and clear deadlines
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Product Management, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to define requirements and deliverables to meet and/or exceed business KPIs
• Lead Kaizens, Continuous Improvement workshops and cross-functional problem-solving sessions that translate business needs into practical implementation plans
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methods or Kaizen Tools to identify root causes, eliminate waste, reduce variation, and improve process performance
• Define, monitor, and communicate Seal Dynamics, NY, KPIs that measure project health, operational performance, and adoption
• Work alongside Data Scientist to create dashboards to provide visibility into forecasts, trends, risks, and results
• Partner with business leaders, process owners, technical teams, and external stakeholders to clarify requirements, secure decisions, and maintain alignment
• Support adoption of project(s) implementation by tracking the project benefits and developing corrective actions alongside stakeholders when performance differs from target to ensure Continuous Improvement mindset
• Prepare and present to senior leadership and staff project management statuses - project dashboards, presentations, and reports

Experience and Education Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional business initiatives.
• Active PMP certification (or PRINCE2) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are highly desirable; Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus
• Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or a related industry is preferred
• Experience developing KPIs and using data to guide decisions and verify results
• Experience with ERPs, enterprise system implementations, digital transformation, or business process improvement is preferred
• Experience presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
• Demonstrated success managing multiple projects with defined scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects with measurable business outcomes
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, and executive presentation skills

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors of the Position

• Primarily office-based work with regular use of a computer and participation in meetings.
• Occasional travel to company locations, customers, suppliers, or strategic partners may be required.
• Must be able to work across departments, locations, and time zones based on project needs.
