Job summary

Traffic Control Devices in Groveland, FL is seeking a Project Manager to lead ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects. You will manage crews, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and drive project schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has a two-year degree in construction management or related field, plus five years supervision experience, proficiency with FDOT standards, MS Office and Adobe PDF, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to read and interpret FDOT design standards for ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects.
• Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation and acceptance of the project(s).
• Possess and maintain a valid DL with an active medical card.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF exchange.

Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with clients, project superintendents, foremen, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline of the projects.
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
• Create schedules for project staff and subcontractors.

• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient.
• Collect data and develop as-builts for projects.
• Oversee safety operation of working crews.
• Produce monthly billings and quantity tracking.
• Access and implement safe work practices.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment following guidelines.

Traffic Control Devices is seeking a Project Manager to assist with organizational and project responsibilities to effectively lead the project and construction team in the industries of the ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Manage and schedule crews, project progression, and resource allocation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read and interpret FDOT design construction, standards, drawings and specifications for ITS, signing, signalization and lighting projects.
• Be familiar with all operations of construction with installation, testing, integration, full operation and acceptance of the project(s).
• Possess and maintain a valid DL with an active medical card.
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft suite products and Adobe PDF exchange.

Education & Experience

• Two-year college degree in construction management, engineering, or other related area or equivalent experience.
• Business experience preferred.
• Industry experience is preferred with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervision role or higher.

Pre-Screen

License & Certifications

• Driver's License preferred, but not required.
