Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Florida is seeking a Traffic Signal Installer to perform troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of street lights and traffic signals. You will work on wiring, read plans, and coordinate with the foreperson and property owners to communicate work requirements.

The role requires the ability to operate bucket trucks and other equipment, with overtime during holidays or emergencies. Valid driver's license is required and pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans.
• Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers.
• Able to operate various equipment to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk).
• Must be willing to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends.

Traffic Signal Installer

This position will be responsible for performing various duties of troubleshooting, maintenance and repair duties on street lights and traffic signals.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Oversees and assist with the wiring of street lighting and traffic signal and equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work in a bucket or platform truck/device (L1-L3)
• Able to read blueprints/plans and construct as per plans (L2-L3)
• Able to direct and oversee Traffic Signal Laborers. (L2-L3)
• Able to operate various equipment in order to install signal items (Bucket Truck, Digger Derrick/Boom Trk etc) (L2-L3)
• Able to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc. Subject to call out work. (ALL LEVELS)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Pre-Screen

License & Certifications:

• Valid Driver's license required.

Travel Requirements:

Must be willing to travel within the State of Texas as needed, overnight or out of town stay may be required up to 2 weeks as needed.
