Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Project Manager to drive the successful execution of small to medium software projects, balancing customer-facing duties with internal initiatives. You will ensure on-time delivery, defined scope, and adherence to budget and quality standards while collaborating with stakeholders and teams across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of small to medium projects, ensuring commitments are delivered on time, within scope, to budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Proactively work with the project team and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business obligations and client needs.
  • Deliver projects on schedule and within budget as specified by project plans.
  • Ensure the use of appropriate processes and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project risks through prioritization, planning, and delivery.
  • Define a communication plan suitable to the project size and importance.
  • Ensure project scope is defined and documented at onset.
  • Manage scope changes and change requests, escalating as needed to address cost/schedule impacts.
  • Anticipate and communicate the impact of project decisions on client commitments/expectations.
  • Create and monitor risk logs and actively mitigate risks.
  • Demonstrate project control through disciplined measurement, assessment, planning, and reporting.
  • Establish trusted relationships with the project team, key stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Split time effectively between customer-facing engagements and internal initiatives.

As a Project Manager at Harris Computer, you will be instrumental in driving the successful execution of small to medium-sized projects. This dynamic role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, to budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will proactively engage with project teams and stakeholders, balancing both customer-facing responsibilities and internal project initiatives to achieve business objectives and ensure client satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing

Salary Range

The hiring range for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, market conditions, and internal equity.
