Fortress Perimeter Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate customer initiatives, orders, and cross-functional activities. You will manage timelines, communicate status, and align stakeholders to ensure smooth execution from opportunity to completion.

You will lead national sales coordination with distributors, contractors, and builders, serving as the voice of the customer on product knowledge, installation, and order placement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of inside sales, project coordination, or sales support experience in construction/building industries.
  • Experience coordinating multi-functional teams and managing customer projects.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

OVERVIEW

The Project Manager will serve as a project coordination point for customer initiatives, orders, and internal cross-functional activities. The Project Manager will help manage timelines, communicate project status, align internal stakeholders, and ensure a smooth execution of customer-related projects from opportunity through completion.

This role will be responsible for calling on and coordinating sales efforts nationally with distributors, contractors, builders and other applicable decision makers. The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a liaison to support sales goals through interaction via email and phone, coordination of efforts with outside sales representatives and Fortress distributors.

The Project Manager will be the voice of the customer by providing information in areas such as product knowledge and selling, technical information, installation, and order placement. This position must be able to support typical business hours across an assigned region.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline by identifying target distributors, contractors, builders, developers, and other potential customers within assigned markets and strategic verticals.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, industry events, referrals, and market research to generate new opportunities and expand Fortress Fence product adoption.
  • Qualify, distribute, and coordinate inbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up, clear ownership, and consistent progression through the sales process.
  • Serve as a primary point of coordination for customer projects and sales-driven initiatives, managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously from initial engagement through order execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Field Sales, Customer Experience, Operations, Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with Field Sales and Channel Sales leadership to develop account plans, prioritize target customers, schedule customer meetings, and advance qualified opportunities toward conversion.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals by supporting the growth of Fortress Fence products through distributor and contractor channels, utilizing a pull-through, consultative sales approach.
  • Participate in regional conference calls, meetings, and trade shows, and provide regular activity and project reporting to the Channel Sales Manager.
  • Maintain accurate customer, sales, and project documentation in CRM and internal systems, while identifying opportunities for continuous process improvement.

Education/Experience/Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction or building industry.
  • Experience in inside sales, customer coordination, project management, or order management preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to design and execute a sales plan while coordinating customer projects.
  • Driven personality with a “winning” attitude.
  • Must be a team player with dedication to Fortress Perimeter Solutions’ success.
  • CRM experience.
  • Bilingual a plus.
