Job summary

Caliagua, Inc., an Azuria Water Solutions company, seeks an experienced Project Manager to plan and control multiple projects from site to site in California. The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and client satisfaction while coordinating with engineers, inspectors, and subcontractors.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, enforce safety and quality, visit sites regularly, and drive timely delivery and closeout, with a focus on team development and project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of construction experience; 5+ years managing heavy civil or water/wastewater projects preferred.
• Travel to jobsites and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead project lifecycle from award through closeout, including planning, execution, turnover, and client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule, milestones, and recovery plans as needed.
• Proactively manage budget, forecast, job costs, cash flow, and cost-to-complete throughout the project.
• Support bid turnover, permitting, scope review, and preconstruction planning before field execution.
• Lead procurement of major materials, equipment, and long-lead items to support the schedule.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation to support timely approvals and field progress.
• Administer owner and subcontract agreements, change orders, and commercial project requirements.
• Oversee billings, WIP, collections support, and routine financial reporting.
• Visit jobsites regularly to verify progress, quality, safety, and field coordination.
• Lead project staff and coordinate effectively with superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with owners, engineers, inspectors, and key stakeholders.
