Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Foster City, CA – (Remote – Bay Area only)
Duration: 5+ Months

Job Description:
  • This role is in the North America Direct Strategy & Operations Team, focusing on strategic business initiatives.
  • Client Direct is an exciting, new payment service that provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and service providers) to facilitate domestic and cross-border fund transfers/disbursements to accounts in the U.S. and around the world using push payment technology, i.e. Original Credit Transaction (OCT), and traditional ACH/RTP payment rails to deposit into checking accounts and wallets leveraging the Payments Limited.
  • Client Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) transfer, cross border remittances and global funds disbursement (business to consumer or small business payments), and more.
  • This is a unique opportunity to join the development of a new product in the growth stage, shaping the reach and acceptance proposition that will underpin the success of the product for years to come.

What we expect of you, day to day:
  • Contractor as a business analyst, managing non-IT projects. Key goals and expectations include:
  • Manage 2-4 projects directly with timelines from 3-12 months:
  • Conduct portfolio analysis using Tableau, benchmarking, and market research
  • Synthesize insights to identify strategic next steps
  • Support the project leads and members to complete research / analysis and coordinate development of storyline/contents
  • Support process improvement related analysis and updates
  • Summarize and report on project progress to senior management and wider audiences, through both standard reporting cycles (monthly business review, weekly team updates) and ad-hoc communication of key progress milestones

Typical projects managed by the Client Direct contractor include:
  • Business analysis
  • Enhancements to existing processes
  • Launch of new product
  • The chosen candidate should have the ability to foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to the business.

Qualifications
  • 3-7 years business analysis and project management related experience
  • Expertise in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Tableau for content development and analysis
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a complex stakeholder management environment
  • Experience in payments would be preferable but is not required
