Job summary

Rogue Architects, based in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of architectural projects. This full-time, hybrid position requires excellence in Revit, project leadership, and mentorship of junior staff.

Job Summary

The Project Manager (PM) plays a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of architectural projects from inception to completion. This position involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring that all project deliverables meet Rogue Architects’ standards, budgets, and timelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in Revit, leadership in restaurant project management, mentor junior staff, and continuously strive for excellence in project outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Serves as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and all team members involved in the project. Manages the accurate implementation of information and the delivery of documents through all phases, including project closeout and lessons learned.
  • Team Collaboration: Leads project teams and provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Client & Consultant Interaction: Develops and maintains positive client relationships and leverages firm resources to facilitate progress.
  • Project Execution: Conducts as-built surveys, creates accurate drawings, participates in construction documents drafting, coordinates bids, RFIs, submittals, and closeout procedures. Monitors issues and ensures on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Initiates and coordinates QA/QC procedures and schedules reviews.
  • Financial Management: Collaborates on financial performance, negotiates services, monitors cost overruns, and ensures budget compliance.
  • Project Monitoring: Uses tools such as Ajera, approves timesheets, logs data, and tracks KPIs.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolves conflicts with support from Senior Leadership or Project Manager, fostering a positive workplace.
  • Opportunities & Marketing: Identifies new opportunities with current clients and assists marketing for repeat business.
Skills & Abilities
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellence in Revit and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Photoshop.
  • Understanding of building systems, codes, and documentation processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and budgets simultaneously.
  • Effective problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and stress management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Ajera.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Work Environment
  • Standard office conditions with typical noise levels.
  • Occasional exposure to construction site environments.
Physical Demands
  • Regular sitting, standing, walking.
  • Travel for surveys as needed.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • Full-time position.
  • Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
  • Office hours Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM with some flexibility.
Travel
  • Site visits and travel as required.
Education and Experience
  • Accredited degree in Architecture or related field (preferred).
  • 4–6 years of experience managing multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • Certifications in relevant software are a plus.
