Job Description

The Project Manager is proactive and ensures optimal customer onboarding onto the AP automation platform by understanding their requirements, overseeing adoption, establishing best practices to continually drive value and return on their investment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with customer sponsors to align activities with the customer’s business case, expected ROI, and business strategy.
2. Conduct all project management tasks to ensure schedule, cost, and quality goals are achieved, including creating detailed project plans, schedules, status reports, roles & responsibilities, risk management, and documentation.
3. Configure the customer’s application based on requirements (workflows, budgets, ERP integration, etc.).
4. Write functional specifications for application scripts or reports to meet complex requirements.
5. Coordinate with developers to develop solutions.
6. Participate in pre-sales activities for complex customers by analyzing needs and quoting service days.
7. Prepare detailed scoping documentation and estimate efforts for additional sales (SOWs).
8. Assist partners with successful adoption when applicable.
9. Contribute to team meetings and internal documentation.
10. Support post go-live requests for deployed clients as needed.
11. Contribute ideas and assist with process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferred.
• Over one year of experience as a project manager, including SaaS implementation projects of significant scope and complexity.
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable and ERP systems like Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Online, or NetSuite is ideal.
• Understanding of relevant technologies and ability to manage technical resolutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in webinars and web conferences.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Additional languages (Spanish, French) are advantageous.
• Familiarity with project management and CRM tools such as Wrike, Jira, Salesforce is a plus.
