Job summary

ArchKey Solutions is hiring a Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical projects from estimation through close-out in our Fort Wayne, IN office. You will own project execution, manage budgets and schedules, and collaborate with foremen, engineers and clients to ensure safety, quality, and profitability.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years managing high-voltage or industrial electrical projects, deep knowledge of power systems and safety regulations, plus strong leadership and communication

Qualifications

  • 5+ years managing high-voltage (69kV–500kV+) or industrial electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of power systems, codes and safety regulations
  • 2+ years electrical construction or commissioning experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems and drive results
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook; familiarity with PM tools
  • Associate's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering/Technology, or equivalent on-the-job experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead Project Execution - Manage all phases of electrical projects including setup, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract interpretation
  • Ensure Safety & Compliance - Prioritize jobsite safety through audits and adherence to OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E, NESC and company standards
  • Manage Labor & Materials - Take full responsibility for labor productivity, staffing, procurement, including delivery, usage and returns
  • Collaborate with Teams - Partner with foremen, field teams, engineers and clients to deliver projects efficiently and profitably
  • Drive Business Growth - Pursue new opportunities, estimate targeted projects, maintain strong client relationships
  • Oversee Project Documentation - Maintain drawings, field records, change orders, and close-out documents

About The Position

As a Project Manager - You'll take full ownership of large-scale, projects from estimating through close-out. You'll have the autonomy to make critical decisions while working with a collaborative team that values integrity, innovation, and craftsmanship.

Day in the Life

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience & Expertise - (Preferred) 5+ years managing high-voltage (69kV to 500kV+) OR industrial electrical projects in transmission, distribution, or substation environments.
  • Technical Knowledge - Strong understanding of power systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Field Background - 2+ years of electrical construction or commissioning experience preferred.
  • Leadership Skills - Proven ability to lead teams, problem-solve, and drive results.
  • Software Proficiency - Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with project management tools.
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or Electrical Engineering/Technology; or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Travel
  • Occasional travel may be required.
