Performance Beauty Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee end-to-end coordination of new product development projects, from approved brief to commercial launch. You will bridge Brand, R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Regulatory to drive timelines, quality, and business objectives.

You will lead cross-functional meetings, track milestones, and ensure documentation and samples are ready for submission and launch. Hybrid Fort Myers, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in cosmetic manufacturing or related industry.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and cross-functional workstreams.
  • Ability to review and complete documentation accurately and timely.
  • Experience working with senior leadership is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate NPD projects from concept through commercial launch.

Job Summary:

The Project Manager owns the end-to-end coordination of new product development projects, from approved brief through commercial launch. This role serves as the central point of coordination across Brand teams, R&D, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and other cross-functional partners. The Project Manager drives project timelines, facilitates communication, resolves cross-functional roadblocks, and ensures each project meets its schedule, quality, and business objectives. As a key representative of Performance Beauty Group throughout the development process, the Project Manager is expected to bring strong judgment, organization, communication, and professionalism to every stage of product development.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate new product development (NPD) projects from concept through commercial launch.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Brand teams and the internal product development organization throughout the development process.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular project status meetings between Brand Product Development and R&D for all active development projects.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting summaries documenting key decisions, action items, owners, and timelines following each project meeting.
  • Receive approved product briefs and ensure all required benchmark products, packaging components, and supporting documentation are available before formulation begins - when possible.
  • Partner with R&D leadership to establish project timelines and communicate key milestones and expected submission dates to Brand teams.
  • Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product submissions, distribute product evaluation and feedback forms, and proactively follow up with Brand teams to obtain timely feedback and maintain project momentum.
  • Maintain project management systems and databases with accurate and current information.
  • Monitor project progress across all stages of development, proactively identifying scheduling conflicts, delays, dependencies, and risks while driving timely resolution with the appropriate functional teams.
  • Coordinate product testing requirements, timelines, and documentation with Regulatory to support commercialization.
  • Coordinate pilot batches, manufacturing readiness and capacity, and technology transfer activities with Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Production.
  • Identify project risks, process gaps, and workflow inefficiencies, proactively recommending and implementing solutions that improve execution and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop, maintain and periodically present brand-level and PBG-level dashboards highlighting a summary view of the project tracking vs. plan and major risks
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education / Certifications:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, project management, science, engineering, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • Project management training or certification is preferred.
Experience / Abilities:
  • Preferred 2+ years experience in cosmetic manufacturing environment
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and cross-functional workstreams
  • Ability to review and complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ability to work cross-functionally & at all levels within the organization including senior leadership
Travel and Hours:
  • Full-Time, 40 hours per week
  • Hybrid position based in Fort Myers, Florida
  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM
  • Travel is not required for this position
